■Product Description
This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Ducati 888, the champion of the Superbike World Championship, which won the title for three consecutive years from 1990. The truss structure pipe frame, which is not seen in Japanese racing bikes, is refreshing. The Ducati's unique L-twin engine is reproduced with separate parts, such as the exposed cocked belt and dry clutch, giving it a spartan feel. The slim form unique to the L-twin engine is also realistically modeled. The engine and cowl are attached with screws, so you can enjoy assembling it like a mechanic. The tires are also reproduced as slick racing tires made of textured solid rubber. A stand is also included to enhance the display mood.
