■Product Description
The Skyraider, developed as the last propeller-driven carrier-based attack aircraft of the US Navy, continued to fly on the front lines for over 30 years. The A-1J, the final production model, appeared in 1956, and hundreds were deployed to the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, playing a significant role in rescue operations for downed pilots and ground attack missions. This is a plastic model assembly kit of the A-1J. The kit faithfully models the Skyraider's distinctive tough style, as well as the Air Force specifications, such as the cockpit equipped with a simple ejection system and the additional antenna on the rear fuselage. It includes a wealth of armament parts, including conventional bombs, rocket launchers, and minigun pods, and one pilot figure. Two types of waterslide decals are included.
