■Product Description
The Corsair, which fully demonstrated its speed, power, and strong offensive capabilities, became the aircraft of many aces. Among them, this is a plastic model assembly kit of the F4U-1D, which was the first aircraft to be officially adopted by the US Navy as an aircraft carrier-based aircraft in April 1944. The model accurately captures the features of the F4U-1D, such as the raised cockpit, the long tail wheel strut, and the new, thick propeller. The distinctive inverted gull wings can also be assembled in a folded state. The canopy can be assembled with either a frameless type or a type with two frames. The kit includes an auxiliary fuel tank, one standing pilot figure in the cockpit, and three types of waterslide decals for ace aircraft.
