■Product Description
[Recreate the launch scene with numerous dedicated parts, including the main wings! !] From its deployment in 1973 until its retirement in 2006, the US Navy's F-14 Tomcat flew as the world's most powerful carrier-based fighter jet. Developed as a fleet air defense fighter combining powerful radar and long-range missiles, the F-14A was the first mass-produced model and the most widely produced. The A model underwent various improvements to its airframe during its long operational period. F-14As from the late 1980s onward, classified as later models, were equipped with more reliable engines and featured a telephoto camera pod (AN/AXX-1 TCS) under the nose to enable magnified viewing of long-range targets. Furthermore, an AN/ALQ-126 ECM antenna was added to the underside of the wing globe to jam enemy radar waves. Some aircraft were modified to operate TARPS (Tactical Aerial Reconnaissance Pod System) equipped with three types of cameras. Furthermore, modifications to give it ground attack capabilities began in the early 1990s, allowing it to carry conventional bombs under the fuselage. Later, by equipping it with the AN/AAQ-25 Lantern target designation pod, it also became capable of operating laser-guided bombs, and the F-14A supported the U.S. Navy as a multirole fighter capable of performing various missions. When an F-14 takes off from an aircraft carrier, it requires the assistance of a steam catapult. It is connected to the catapult in a forward-leaning attitude with its nose down, its variable wings are extended to their furthest forward position, and its leading-edge slats and flaps are fully down in preparation for takeoff. The takeoff operation is supported by many flight deck personnel, and among them, the catapult officer (shooter) plays a crucial role in directing the catapult launch operation and giving the final order for takeoff.
