[An ambitious work that embodies the ideal of a 1/48 scale airplane model]
The Messerschmitt Bf109 fought as the main fighter aircraft of the German Air Force throughout World War II. More than 30,000 Bf109s were produced, the most in fighter aircraft history, and numerous development and derivative models were created. Among them, the G model was equipped with a Daimler-Benz DB605 engine with a takeoff power of 1,475 horsepower. And in order to counter the highly armored American B-17 bomber, the G-6, which had its nose armament strengthened from a 7.92mm machine gun to a 13mm machine gun, was mass-produced from February 1943 to February 1945, with more than 13,000 units produced, the most in the series. A distinctive external feature is the bulge called a "Beure" on the side of the nose, which was provided to cover the ejection chute for the 13mm machine gun's ammunition. In addition, some aircraft were equipped with one 20mm machine gun gondola on the underside of each wing to enhance firepower. The G-6 fought valiantly on a wide range of fronts, from the Eastern and Western fronts to the Mediterranean, intercepting bombers and engaging in air superiority battles until the end of the war.

[Model Details]
This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Messerschmitt Bf109G-6, which became the main fighter aircraft of the German Air Force in the latter half of World War II. ★1/48 scale, 188mm length, 207mm wingspan. ★Based on meticulous research of the actual aircraft, the elegant silhouette and the bulge on the side of the nose, known as the "beure," are accurately modeled. ★The DB605 engine is also precisely reproduced. ★The 20mm machine gun gondolas on the underside of the main wings are also included as parts. ★The drop tanks are detachable using polycaps. ★Two types of intakes are included: a standard type and a dust filter type. ★Two types of bulletproof steel plates are provided for the rear of the canopy: a standard type and a Garland Panzer type with bulletproof glass. ★The second canopy can be assembled in either the open or closed position. ★The flaps and radiator flaps can be assembled in either the raised or lowered position. ★One seated pilot figure is included. ★Three types of markings, including aircraft belonging to the 54th Fighter Wing, masking stickers for canopy painting, and a color painting diagram are also included.
