[A Masterpiece Heavy Bomber That Secured Victory]
The Avro Lancaster was a representative heavy bomber of the British military during World War II. It had a huge bomb bay, nearly half the length of the aircraft, about 10 meters long, and combined with its robust structure, it could carry up to 10 tons of bombs. In addition to the Mk.I equipped with a British-made engine, the Mk.III equipped with a US-made Packard Merlin engine was also developed, and more than 7,000 aircraft of all types were mass-produced by the end of the war. In the latter half of the war, it continued to fly as the mainstay of night bombing raids against mainland Germany, making a total of 156,000 sorties and dropping a total of 600,000 tons of bombs by the end of the war. It dealt a major blow to German industrial production and contributed to the Allied victory, and is counted as one of the masterpiece aircraft produced by Britain during the war, along with the Spitfire and Mosquito.

This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Lancaster, a masterpiece bomber of the Royal Air Force. ●1/48 scale, total length 443mm, total wingspan 648mm, you can enjoy an impressive building experience. ●Two types each are provided for the front canopy, rear gunner's seat, propeller, exhaust pipes, etc. You can choose to assemble a wide range of specifications from the early to late models of the Mk.I and Mk.III. ●In addition to the regular canopy parts, parts with painted frames are also provided (with some exceptions). ●The cockpit interior, rear gunner's seat, and main landing gear bay are also finished with a three-dimensional feel. The nose, upper fuselage, and rear gun turrets are movable. ● Two Merlin engines are also modeled. The engine cowlings are separate parts and can be attached or detached. ● The bomb bay hatches can be opened or closed. A wide variety of armament parts, including 200-pound and 4,000-pound bombs, are included. ● The slick-type main landing gear tires realistically reproduce the deformation caused by the aircraft's own weight. ● Includes five figures: pilot, radio operator, bombardier, gunner, and ground crew. ● Four types of markings are included, including one with nose art.
