■Product Description
[Japan's world-renowned masterpiece revived with the latest technology]
The Zero fighter continued to fly as the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy throughout the Pacific War. Among them, the Type 52 was introduced in the latter half of the war to counter the high-speed, heavily armed American fighters, following the Type 22. Improvements were made to various parts, such as changing the exhaust pipe to a thrust-type single exhaust pipe, shortening the wingspan and making the wingtips semicircular, and the top speed was increased to 565 km/h. Subsequently, the Type 52A was also produced, which changed the wing-mounted machine guns to a belt type to increase the amount of ammunition carried. Deployment to units began in the autumn of 1943, and it sortied in almost all battles in the latter half of the war. It fought valiantly against the American forces, which were overwhelmingly superior in both quality and quantity.
