The F-16 of the U.S. Air Force was born as a small, lightweight air combat fighter, and through its excellent basic design and gradual improvements, it evolved into a powerful multirole fighter. The advanced F-16C featured improvements to the radar and cockpit, and in addition to the P&W F100 engine, it could also be equipped with the high-powered GE F110. Among them, the Block 50, which appeared in 1991, was equipped with the F110-GE-129 engine, which had even greater thrust. Furthermore, the type equipped with the capability to operate the AGM-88 high-speed anti-radar missile was named F-16CJ and could perform the Wild Weasel mission to suppress enemy air defense radar. Also, aircraft that underwent modifications called CCIP by 2005 had their ground attack capabilities and air combat capabilities greatly enhanced.

This is a plastic model assembly kit of the F-16CJ Block 50, a multirole fighter jet that supports the tactics of the US Air Force. ●1/48 scale, length 316mm, wingspan 197mm.The latest aircraft among the Block 50s, which has undergone CCIP modifications, is realistically modeled, including the IFF antenna in front of the cockpit. ●The smooth lines from the strakes on the side of the nose to the fuselage and wings are faithfully reproduced. ●The horizontal stabilizers are movable, and the wing flaperons can be set up or down. ●AGM-88 high-speed anti-radar missile In addition to air-to-air missiles such as the AIM-120C and AIM-9M/X, the kit includes a wealth of accessories such as ECM pods, towed decoys, and two types of drop tanks. ● The center tank and ECM pod are interchangeable. The drop tanks under the main wings and the vertical stabilizer can be removed even after completion. ● Includes one pilot figure. In addition to the conventional helmet, a new helmet with a missile targeting device is also included. ● Three types of markings are included, so you can choose to represent the aircraft before the modifications.
