■Product Description
[The towering wall that stands in the way, conveying the awe-inspiring power of the "monster"] In December 1939, the Soviet army officially adopted the KV-1 as its next-generation main battle heavy tank, incorporating many modern features such as a diesel engine and torsion bar suspension. The KV-2 was a heavy tank designed to break through enemy lines, further enhancing the offensive power of the KV-1. The hull was based on the KV-1, but the main gun was replaced from a 76.2mm gun to a massive 152mm howitzer. In order to secure internal space, the turret became an extremely tall, box-shaped structure. Delivery to the army began in July 1940, and more than 200 units were completed. The KV-2, which faced the German invasion in June 1941, was plagued by problems such as breakdowns due to its excessive weight, but some vehicles made full use of their robust defenses and the power of their 152mm howitzers to fight valiantly alone. They stood in the way of the advancing German units and became an important force until the Germans were ready to counterattack.
