■Product Description
[The green giant that fought to defend the homeland]
The KV-1 was a heavy tank of the Soviet army that was officially adopted in 1939. Among the various types of KV-1s produced, the vehicle known as the 1941 model was equipped with the long-barreled 76.2mm ZIS-5 gun, which could penetrate the armor of contemporary German tanks from long range. Early production vehicles had a turret with a basic armor thickness of 75mm, assembled by welding armor plates. In June 1941, with the start of the German-Soviet war, the KV-1 was deployed and tenaciously defended the battlefield, making use of its high defensive and offensive capabilities. It stopped the German army, which boasted of being invincible, and greatly contributed to the subsequent victories of the Soviet army.
