[America's First Full-Fledged Amphibious Vehicle]
The Ford GPA was an amphibious vehicle used by the US military and others during World War II. Developed by combining the engine and running gear of the Ford GPW, a well-known small four-wheel drive vehicle, with a newly designed boat-shaped body, it was officially adopted in April 1942. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with a propeller and rudder for water navigation. Many were deployed in the North African invasion in November 1942, the landings on Sicily in July 1943, and the Normandy landings in June 1944. Approximately 12,800 units were produced by June 1943.

This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Ford GPA. ●1/35 scale, 135mm in length, 50mm in width. ●Realistically reproduces the unique boat-shaped style. ●The engine hood can be opened or closed, and the engine inside is also made into a part. ●Etched parts are provided for the ventilator cover and hatch stays. ●A set of 3 figures in total: a driver and two dynamic soldier figures. ●Includes two types of decals: the Tunisian front and the Normandy landings.
