[Renewed German Officer Set]
This is a plastic model assembly kit of 5 figures, mainly German officers from World War II. ●A senior officer pointing to a target with a map in one hand, a field officer holding a bag, map case and MP40, a non-commissioned officer inspecting a Luger P08, a communications soldier making contact on a field telephone, etc., are modeled with accurate proportions and sharp sculpting. ●Equipment such as the MP40 and Luger P08, holsters and bags and field telephone are also finished with a rich three-dimensional feel. *For rank insignia and medals, the separately sold 1/16 1/35 German soldier rank insignia decal set (Item 12625) will enhance the finish.

The uniforms of German officers during World War II were basically the same design as those of soldiers, but because they were allowed to be made to order, they were smartly styled and made of high-quality materials. The same was true for coats, which were different from those of soldiers. Also, the wearing of riding breeches and riding boots was another difference from ordinary soldiers. They usually carried pistols such as the Luger P08 or Walther P38 as self-defense weapons, but on the front lines, it was not uncommon for officers themselves to lead their troops with MP40 submachine guns.
