[The Robust Tractor that Supported the German Army]
The German army, noticing the superior towing capabilities of the large agricultural tractors manufactured by Hanomag, which were widely used before World War II, adopted them as the SS-100 military heavy towing vehicle. The SS-100 was equipped with a 100-horsepower 6-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine and had a towing capacity of 20 tons. It was used by all branches of the military—Army, Navy, and Air Force—to tow various artillery pieces, aircraft with two or more engines, various bombs, large fuel and water trailers, rescue broken-down vehicles, and even transport V2 rockets towards the end of the war, continuing to serve in transport missions throughout the war.

This is a plastic model assembly kit of the SS-100. ★1/48 scale, total length 114mm, total width 53mm. ★The large and imposing appearance is realistically modeled. ★The box-shaped cabin is molded as one piece except for the rear, making assembly easy. ★The chassis and cabin interior have plenty of three-dimensionality despite the limited number of parts. ★Includes one driver figure holding the steering wheel and four types of decals for vehicles belonging to the Army, Navy, and Air Force. ★Includes a tow bar that can be attached to the front wheels of the He219 Uhu. *He219 Uhu is not included in the kit.
