[Czech-made tank that supported the German army]
In 1939, Germany annexed Czechoslovakia and took notice of the high performance of the LTvz.38 light tank developed by the Czech company CKD. It was officially adopted as the 38(t) tank. Equipped with a 3.7cm main gun, the armor was riveted, and with a 125 horsepower engine, it had a maximum speed of 42 km/h. It was produced in various forms from A to G with improvements made along the way, and played an active role as one of the main battle tanks of the German army in the early stages of the war. Among them, the E/F type, produced for about a year from November 1940, was a type with enhanced defensive capabilities based on combat experience. Many of these were deployed in the early stages of the German-Soviet war from June 1941.
