【A Unique Style That Raced Across the Battlefield】
The Dingo was a British Army armored reconnaissance vehicle that combined excellent mobility with up to 30mm of protective armor. Its compact body incorporated advanced features such as a wishbone suspension and four-wheel drive. Deliveries of the first production model, the Mk.I, began in 1939, and the improved Mk.II featured improved stability by changing the four-wheel steering, which had been a cause of rollovers, to front-wheel steering. By 1945, over 6,600 vehicles had been produced in the series, and it played an active role as a reconnaissance and command vehicle in the North African campaign and the European campaign after the Normandy landings.
