During World War II, the German army adopted tank-centered tactics early on, deploying a large number of combat and support vehicles. However, the challenge was how to quickly recover and repair damaged vehicles on the front lines where maintenance facilities were unavailable. Specialized maintenance units were formed and operated alongside combat units. In addition, routine maintenance, such as resupplying ammunition and fuel, other than major repairs, was carried out by the crew of each vehicle.

This is a plastic model assembly kit of German soldiers that can be used to create dioramas of maintenance and supply scenes. ●The set includes 8 tank crew members and 1 infantryman in a variety of poses, such as maintaining tanks and vehicles or loading ammunition. ●A wide range of accessories are included to enhance realism, such as tools and various types of ammunition. (Included accessories: Armor-piercing rounds for King Tiger, high-explosive rounds for Tiger I, armor-piercing rounds for Panther, armor-piercing rounds for Panzer IV, wooden crates for each type of ammunition, open and closed toolbox, hammer, vise, sledgehammer, oil can, burner, tool kit, tool bag, jack, crank, workbench, stepladder, oil can, 18L can, wooden crate, bucket) ●It can be combined with tanks and vehicles available in the 1/48MM series to enjoy a wide range of diorama settings.
