The Citroën 11CV is a masterpiece of a mid-size passenger car from France, produced from 1934 to 1957. It adopted a front-wheel drive system and a monocoque body, reflecting Citroën's advanced design. It boasted excellent handling and versatility thanks to its lightweight, low center of gravity, and independent suspension. During World War II, its performance led to its widespread adoption not only by the French army but also by the German army after the occupation of France. It was used throughout Europe, as well as in Russia and the North African front, and was even used as a private car by air force pilots.
