■Product Description
[World-renowned capability and reliability] The Leopard 2, developed in West Germany in the 1970s, became the main battle tank of the German Federal Army. Among them, the A6 is a further modernization that dramatically increased its offensive and defensive capabilities. Features such as the wedge-shaped add-on armor on the turret and the commander's panoramic sight equipped with a thermal imaging device were carried over from the previous A5 model, and the main gun, a 120mm smoothbore gun, was extended to 55 calibers. The barrel lengthened to more than 1 meter greatly increased the muzzle velocity and armor penetration power. The A6, which began deployment in 2001, has gained reliability in Greece and Canada, where uniquely modified versions are also in operation. Then, in January 2023, the German government announced the provision of its A6 tanks to the Ukrainian army as support for the Russian invasion.
