[Dominating the World's GT Races]
The world's GT races are crowded with strong competitors such as Mercedes, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, and Audi. The Mercedes-AMG GT3 is a commercially available racing car developed for these races to meet the FIA GT3 standard. Based on the commercially available sports car AMG GT, the body is made lightweight with an aluminum space frame and carbon fiber exterior panels, and is equipped with a large rear wing, diffuser, and front spoiler. A 6.3-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine is mounted in the front and drives the rear wheels. This machine has been delivered to leading racing teams around the world and has also participated in Japan's SUPER GT since 2016. In the Blancpain GT Series, a sports car race held mainly in Europe, the HTP Motorsport team won the driver and team titles, and in the 2016 Nürburgring 24-hour race, they dominated with 1st to 4th place finishes, achieving great success in races around the world. It is a commercially available racing machine that is indispensable to GT racing.
