The Mazda Roadster, which debuted in 1989, became a global hit among small sports cars. The fourth generation, released in 2015, pursued the ultimate form of a lightweight open sports car based on the "Kodo" design concept, adopting a compact, dynamic, low trapezoidal form. While downsizing the engine displacement from the previous model's 2 liters to 1.5 liters, further weight reduction was pursued by increasing the use of aluminum and high-tensile steel, and combined with numerous advanced safety features that support driving, it creates a more comfortable and safer ride. This fourth-generation Roadster, which has been praised for its attractive and beautiful form and the joy of driving, joins the 1/24 sports car series.

●This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Mazda Roadster, known as the ND model, released in 2015. ●Scale 1/24, overall length 164mm, overall width 80mm. ●The low, wide, dynamic form is modeled exactly as it is on the actual car. ●Reproduces the fully open state with the side windows and soft top folded down. ●The suspension and interior are also highly detailed. The distinctive power plant frame is made of separate parts. ●Inlet marks are used for the Mazda emblem and door mirror surfaces. ●The reflectors for the front and rear lamps, as well as the air vents, dials, and shift lever base in the interior are made of plated parts. ●Can be assembled as either a right-hand drive or left-hand drive version. ●Two types of speedometers are provided as waterslide decals: km display and km/mile display, to accommodate export models. ●The first female driver figure in the series is also included.
