■Product Description
[Group 4 Machines That Dominated Races]
The Porsche Turbo RSR was a commercially available racing car developed for the international sports car races that began in 1976. Based on the Porsche 930 Turbo, this Group 4 machine was also called the 934 Racing, and 31 units were produced. Among them, the two Porsche 934s of the Max Moritz team, whose main sponsor was the German liqueur manufacturer "Jägermeister," were characterized by their vibrant orange color. They performed well throughout the 1976 season, including a 1-2 finish in the first round of the DRM (German Sports Car Championship) at the Nürburgring, and also participated in the fourth round of the World Manufacturers Championship, the Nürburgring 1000km race. Car No. 24 fought well against the Group 5 specification works machine, the Porsche 935, and secured 3rd place in its class. Furthermore, its teammate, car No. 25, achieved excellent results, finishing 3rd overall and winning its class.
