Born from a big project jointly developed by Toyota and Subaru, the Toyota 86 is a sports car that was released in April 2012. It features a horizontally opposed 4-cylinder 2.0-liter engine with Toyota's direct injection technology "D-4S" mounted in the front and driving the rear wheels. Almost everything from the body to the engine and suspension was newly designed in pursuit of the joy of driving. It is a modern lightweight sports car that incorporates attention to detail in every aspect.
