■Product Description
[The straight wingtips shine brightly]
The Type 32 was the next Zero fighter to be deployed in combat around the autumn of 1942, following the Type 21, among the Zero fighters that continued to fight throughout the Pacific War. It is characterized by its engine being replaced with the Sakae 21 with a two-speed supercharger, and the wingtips being shortened by 50 cm on each side and given a square shape. Both the top speed and climb rate surpassed that of the Type 21, and its dive performance and roll performance were also improved, boasting high aerial combat performance. Incidentally, the Allied Zero fighter's code name was ZEKE, but the Type 32 was recognized as a different aircraft due to the shape of its wingtips and was called HAMP.
