■ Description
The U.S. Navy's battleship Corsair, which flew in the front lines from the Pacific War to the Korean War, was the flagship type of the F4U-1D's plastic model assembly kit, introduced in late 1944. Corsair's refined style, such as a wide-diameter propeller and reverse wing, faithfully modeled the characteristics of the F4U-1D, such as a windowless water-drop canopy and long tail pillars. Two types of canopy rocket bullets, eight rocket shells and two 175-gallon boosters, three types of marking, set speed, power, and powerful offensive power, resurrected the air-controlled wings of the Pacific.
