The M4A3E8 was the final version of the M4A3E8 during the Second World War. It featured a Ford V-type eight-cylinder gasoline engine in a late-stage welding vehicle that improved its defensiveness. The M4A3E8, also known as the Easy Eight after its designation, was characterized by excellent handling performance, horizontal suspension suspension (HVSS) and a wide shoulder strap. The M4A3E8 produced about 2,600 tanks from August 1944 to April 1945. The M4A3E8 served in the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944 and contributed to the Union's victory in the final battle of World War II.
