[Conveying the style of Germany's strongest tank]
The King Tiger was Germany's strongest heavy tank, appearing in 1944 during the later stages of World War II. In addition to its thick armor of 150mm on the front of the hull and 80mm on the sides, it was equipped with a powerful 71-caliber 88mm gun that could destroy any Allied tank from a distance. While the first 50 prototypes were equipped with a turret designed by Porsche, the mass-produced models were equipped with an improved turret designed by Henschel. It was deployed intensively in the Battle of the Ardennes in December 1944, when the German army aimed to turn the tide of the war, and fought valiantly until the end of the war. It became the greatest threat to the Allied forces.
