■Product Description
[An Italian powerhouse indispensable to MotoGP] Ducati, the Italian powerhouse that made its debut in the 2003 MotoGP class of the Two-Wheel Road Racing World Championship, immediately secured a victory and shocked its rivals. In 2004, while struggling with the settings, its overwhelming top speed remained intact. Ducati is a GP racer that cannot be overlooked when talking about MotoGP in 2004. This is a 1/12 scale model of the Desmosedici. The V4 engine, which resembles two V2 engines combined (known as L-twin), is faithfully reproduced, including the airbox and the separate exhaust pipes. The steel tube truss frame, not seen on other machines, and the chassis structure where the engine also functions as the frame are major highlights of the model. Furthermore, you can enjoy the unique configuration as you assemble it, including the swingarm with a pivot in the crankcase and the rear damper link. Of course, the distinctive Italian design form is faithfully reproduced. Moreover, the side cowls, seat cowl, and tank are attached with tiny screws and can be removed even after completion. You can also enjoy displaying it in a pit-like maintenance scene.
【Both L. Capirossi and T. Bayliss specifications can be reproduced】 The waterslide decals, which are crucial to the finished model, are made by the renowned Italian company Cartograf. Two types are included: one for rider No. 65, L. Capirossi, and one for rider No. 12, T. Bayliss. In addition, two different shaped seat parts are provided to accommodate the different physiques of the two riders.
