The 1/100 scale VF-1 series is popular for its ease of assembly and convenient size, tailored to the style of model fans. The previously released VF-1S Strike Valkyrie [Battroid] Hikaru Ichijo's machine will be joined by a convertible model kit with decals for Roy Focker's machine. The kit is a snap-fit type that does not require glue, and each joint is movable with polycaps. By removing the transformation gimmick as with the fighter, it has a well-balanced proportion as a humanoid robot and faithfully reproduces the image from the movie. When combined with the separately sold VF-1S Strike Valkyrie [Fighter], it is possible to reproduce the Gerwalk form.
