The world of original robots "MARUTTOYS" created by up-and-coming sculptor MiZ (Koki Mizuno).
As a new item in the "TAMOTU" artist collaboration item between Kotobukiya and MARUTTOYS, the upgraded type "TAMOTU Type-S" is now available as a plastic model kit!
【Setting】
"TAMOTU Type-S" is a model that has been upgraded from "TAMOTU" to a security robot.
Armor has been added to the front and sides, and an "additional sensor unit" is equipped on the head.
A "drone" and a "paint bullet launcher" are mounted on the back, and by working in conjunction with two "drones", it is possible to patrol facilities efficiently.
The "paint bullet launcher" fires highly viscous paint bullets. If you aim at the camera, you can take away the opponent's vision, and if you aim at the robot's joints, you can slow down its movement.
【Product Specifications】
・Full action model with 26 points of articulation throughout the body.
・Can transform from "Normal Mode" for running to "Work Mode" with the back and legs extended.
・The internal frame of the "TAMOTU" main body is fully reproduced. The exterior parts of the main body can be removed.
・The two "paint bullet launchers" equipped on the back are removable. They can be held by character plastic models such as "Frame Arms Girl", "Megami Device", and "Megalomaria".
・The two "drones" on the back can transform from standby mode to flight mode. They can be displayed using "New Flying Base (sold separately)" or "Hexa Gear Mini Flying Base (various types, sold separately)".
・The "drones" can also be displayed in flight mode with the "paint bullet launchers" attached.
・Equipped with 15 3mm diameter joints (holes) throughout the body.
・The kit is molded in three colors: "white", "gray", and "colorless clear". Even just assembling it as is will allow you to reproduce a color scheme close to the original design.
(Note: The molded color is different from the "TAMOTU Type-S [Green Ver.] (Kotobukiya Shop Limited Edition)" released at the same time.)
[How to enjoy]
- By using the 3mm diameter joints (holes) all over the body and the 3mm diameter joints (shafts) of the optional parts, you can freely customize "TAMOTU Type-S" by using parts from "MSG," "Frame Arms Girl," "Hexa Gear," etc.
- You can enjoy combining it with non-scale "Frame Arms Girl" and 1/24 scale "Hexa Gear," sharing the same world view without being limited to the original 1/12 scale.
