【What is HoiHoi-san!?】
An ultra-compact insect extermination robot (Interceptor Doll) that appears in "One-Shot Insect Killer!! HoiHoi-san" and "One-Shot Insect Killer!! HoiHoi-san LEGACY" by Kunihiko Tanaka.
Developed by Mars Pharmaceuticals, "HoiHoi-san" is loved by people of all ages, from children to the elderly, for its cute appearance and wide range of customization options for equipment and clothing.
The plastic model of "HoiHoi-san" was released by Kotobukiya in September 2009. "A cute, fully poseable figure, yet an assembly-required plastic kit"?this was a groundbreaking specification at the time, causing a huge sensation in the industry and becoming a massive hit product.
This product concept is still carried on in Kotobukiya's character plastic models today, including Frame Arms Girl.
【Renewal Points】
・We've worked hard to modify some of the molds! The skin tone and clothing parts have been changed to a matte finish with a textured finish. Even if you just assemble it as is, it will have a finish close to that of a pre-painted finished product.
・This is a gorgeous DX version that includes the "dedicated cradle (charger-type stand for HoiHoi-san)" which was sold separately in the previous version.
【Product Specifications】
・Total height approximately 125mm. A very adorable 1/1 scale.
・The kit runners are molded in 7 colors. In addition, a total of 8 parts, including face parts and eye parts, are pre-painted, so you can enjoy a finish close to the image of the setting even if you just assemble it.
・By swapping out the three pre-painted eye parts, you can change Hoihoi-san's gaze (forward, right, and left).
・A fully action model with movable joints throughout the body. This plastic model is fun to play with, display, and even take pictures of, as you can pose it in various ways.
・The distinctive apron logo (HOIHOI-SAN ID-3) is reproduced using tampo printing.
・The dedicated cradle uses clear parts for the charging signal. The internal parts are pre-painted and can be switched between red (charging), green (charging complete), and black (power off).
・To recreate the setting where "Hoihoi-san takes off her shoes and gets on the cradle," interchangeable barefoot parts are included. The barefoot parts are meticulously designed so that you can choose to assemble them with or without toenail detail.
・The cradle has a metal plate inside, and the barefoot parts have magnets inside. The satisfying "click" sound when Hoihoi-san gets into the cradle is incredibly pleasant.
・Water-slide decals, including the apron logo, are included for users who prefer painting.
