In January 1999, the R34 Skyline GT-R (BNR34) was born, based on the R33 Skyline GT-R, which had hitherto held the title of "the strongest".・That's 15.6 kilos per liter.・The transmission also uses a six-speed manual developed in collaboration with GETRAG. The body size is also downsized compared to the R33, which greatly improved the performance of the engine.
