Lightweight Mid-Engine Open Car Honda Beat
The PP1 Beat debuted in 1991. Born under the concept of a "high-density personal open car," the Beat packed many attractive features into its compact body, living up to its "high-density" concept. The E07A engine, mounted in the center of the 3.3m long, 1.4m wide body, was a high-revving engine with a redline starting at 8,500rpm thanks to the state-of-the-art intake system "MTREC," and was the only light car at the time to achieve the voluntary limit of 64PS with a naturally aspirated engine.
