The British Royal Navy Flower-class corvette makes a reappearance in the 1/700 Waterline Series!
As Germany rearmed, Britain anticipated fleet battles in the open ocean, and also placed importance on localized coastal defenses, adopting small anti-submarine whaling ships as hastily constructed wartime vessels. Orders were placed from 1939, and 140 were built in Britain and 123 in Canada between 1940 and 1944, achieving combat successes such as sinking more than 40 submarines.
This kit is a standalone product of the kit included with the "British Royal Navy Heavy Cruiser Exeter Atlantic Convoy Convoy Operation" released in 2018. A German Navy U-boat submarine in the same scale is included.
