The Crown, which has always made history as a luxury car in Japan, underwent a full model change in 2003, becoming the 12th generation S18# series Crown. All components, from the chassis to the engine and suspension, were new, and it was loved with the catchphrase "ZERO Crown". Then, in October 2005, it underwent a minor change and evolved into the later model.
