The Soarer, a top-of-the-line specialty car that debuted in February 1981 with the catchphrase "Into the uncharted territory," underwent a full model change to the third-generation Z30 series on May 7, 1991. Developed with the concept of "a new generation super grand tourer pursuing romance and advanced technology," the new Soarer featured a revolutionary form with a voluminous, curved design that completely changed its image from previous models.
