■Product Description
Two Osumi-class destroyers were also built at the same facility.
Features include anti-air capabilities with the FCS-3A active phased array multi-function radar and ESSM anti-aircraft missiles, as well as torpedo defense measures such as projected stationary jammers and self-propelled decoy MODs.
There are minor changes from the preceding three Akizuki-class destroyers, such as the anchor recess, the number of louvers on the funnel, and the height of the black painted section on the funnel.
It is expected to play an active role as a next-generation destroyer, including escorting Aegis destroyers.
The ship's name, "Fuyuzuki," was inherited from the Akizuki-class destroyer "Fuyuzuki," which was at the end of the war.
Belongs to the 7th Escort Division, 3rd Escort Flotilla.
