The "Missing Link" series is a virtual reissue of a series that might have existed in that era. The 13th installment features the anime type of Grimlock, the commander of the dinosaur army, the Dinobots!
In 1985, the Dinobots gained popularity with their innovative approach, adding a group of five members that transformed into mechanical dinosaurs to the Autobot army, which had previously consisted mainly of members that transformed into cars. Grimlock, their commander, appears in the Missing Link series with numerous additional functions and a completely new design. C-13 is a type that reproduces the anime setting colors.
Grimlock transforms from a mechanical Tyrannosaurus to a robot. While retaining the construction that uses die-cast metal in some parts, it is now possible to freely pose him in both forms with movable joints in each part.
Because the position of the emblem is different from C-12, a part of the chest in robot mode has been reshaped to reproduce it. The included weapon, the "saber," is a red type inspired by the old toy and the overseas comic version, and its sharp shape is reproduced using hard plastic. The handheld gun, the "double laser gun," is a two-tone color scheme based on the anime, different from that of C-12, and the "missile launcher" also has a similar color scheme. The missiles on the missile launcher can be attached and detached for imaginative play. A "human" (worker type) figure of the same type as the one included with C-05 Sunstreaker is also included, and the cockpit hatch on the back of the dinosaur can be opened and the figure can be placed inside. A "secret emblem" is also attached to the Grimlock figure itself, and the legion mark will appear when warmed with your finger. The robot is equipped with a joint hole on the back for a separately sold stand, allowing it to be displayed in action poses. The package illustration is a newly drawn illustration inspired by the original, and a collection card is also included.
