■Product Description
Lost dreams link across time!
The long-awaited Decepticons join the "Missing Link" series, a virtual reissue of characters that might have existed in that era. Introducing the intelligence officer "Soundwave (Anime Type)"!
Soundwave is one of the most popular characters in the series, known for transforming into a stereo cassette and launching cassette troops from his chest. He has been revived in the Missing Link series with the same size as the original, retaining the G1 style with some zinc alloy parts, but equipped with movable joints for free posing, a new transformation mode, and luxurious accessories.
This time, the Anime Type comes with a newly designed Cassettebot "Condor Cybertron Mode (Anime Type)", which is being made into a 3D model for the first time in the G1 format. This Cassettebot first appeared in the first episode of the anime "The Transformers," "The Road to Earth," and is the Cybertronian form of Condor, but has never been commercialized in the G1 format before, making it a legendary character. With this Missing Link, a new cassette is added to the Cassettebots.
The Soundwave (Anime Type) figure itself brings to life the mechanical sculpting that was originally represented in two dimensions with stickers. Foil stickers are also included for optional application. Furthermore, a redesigned joint system allows for significantly more dynamic action poses, such as kneeling and ejecting. It can also transform into a third mode, the "Light Standard Mode" seen in the first episode of the anime, "The Road to Earth." This mode resembles a streetlamp on Cybertron, deceiving the Autobots. Accessories include familiar equipment such as the Electric Launcher, Vibration Blaster Gun, and Barrier Case, as well as headphones, a command microphone, and a cord, which were features of the original Japanese domestic version. These accessories have slightly different coloring than the D-01 Soundwave (sold separately). (The headphones are for display purposes only and are not recommended for actual head attachment.)
The Soundwave (Anime Type) and Condor Cybertron Mode (Anime Type) figures also have a "Secret Emblem" attached. When warmed with your fingers, the army mark appears. Each figure also features a joint hole for a separately sold stand, allowing for display in action poses. The package illustration is a newly drawn piece inspired by the era, and a collection card is also included.
