■Product Description
Lost dreams link across time!
The long-awaited Decepticons join the "Missing Link" series, a virtual reissue of a character that might have existed in that era. Introducing the intelligence officer, "Soundwave"!
Soundwave is one of the most popular characters in the series, transforming into a stereo cassette and launching cassette troops from his chest. He has been revived in the Missing Link series with the same size as the original, retaining the G1 style with some zinc alloy parts, but equipped with movable joints for free posing, a new transformation mode, and luxurious accessories.
This time, the Cassettebot "Scout Robo," which has been made into a 3D model for the first time, is included with a new design. Appearing in the episode "Two Convoys" of the anime "The Transformers," he is one of the reconnaissance drone-type Cassettebots that investigated the Colonium Crystal, but has never been made into a product before, and with this Missing Link, the vacant Cassettebot slot is finally filled.
The Soundwave figure itself reproduces some of the patterns that were originally represented by stickers, using three-dimensional sculpting and coloring. Foil stickers that can be applied as desired are also included. In addition, the redesigned joints allow for significantly more freedom in action poses, such as "kneeling" and "eject pose," and it can also transform into a third mode, the "Light Standard Mode" seen in the first episode of the anime, "The Road to Earth." It takes on the appearance of a streetlamp on its home planet, Cybertron, to deceive the Autobots. Accessories include familiar equipment such as the Electric Launcher, Vibration Blaster Gun, and Barrier Case, as well as headphones, a command microphone, and a cord, which were features of the original Japanese version. (The headphones are for display purposes only and are not recommended to actually wear on the head.)
The Soundwave and Scout Robo figures also have "Secret Emblems" attached, and when warmed with your fingers, the legion mark will appear. Each is also equipped with a joint hole for a separately sold stand, allowing you to display them in action poses. The package illustration is a newly drawn illustration inspired by the original, and a collection card is also included.
