■Product Description
The Trophy is an active protection system (APS) developed in Israel with the aim of enhancing the armor protection capabilities of armored fighting vehicles. The Trophy APS is a hard-kill type APS that intercepts and destroys anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), recoilless rifles, etc., with a barrage of fire similar to a shotgun. In 2016, a demonstrator equipped with the Trophy was unveiled on the US Marine Corps' M1A1 Abrams, and in 2018, an M1A2 SEP V2 equipped with the Trophy was tested in military exercises. In January 2021, it was announced that development of the "Trophy Defense System," which mounts the Trophy APS on the M1A2 SEP V2/V3, had been completed.
