■Product Description
The M4 medium tank is a 30-ton class medium tank developed and manufactured in the United States during World War II, boasting high mobility and firepower. The M4A4 was manufactured at the Detroit Tank Arsenal and was equipped with an A-57 double-row 30-cylinder liquid-cooled gasoline engine. Many of these tanks were supplied to the British Army. Although the engine had a unique structure consisting of five inline-six gasoline engines connected in a fan shape to form a 30-cylinder engine, making maintenance difficult, it is said to have had fewer breakdowns and a good operational record compared to British tanks of the same era. Approximately 7,500 M4A4s were produced between June 1942 and August 1943. The US military only used the M4A4 for training within the United States, but it was also supplied to the Canadian Army, the Free Polish Army, the Free French Army, and the Chinese Nationalist Army.
