■Product Description
The Type 38 Flamethrower Tank was a flamethrower variant developed with use in the "Operation Watch on the Rhine" in December 1944 in mind. Twenty Hetzer tanks had their main guns and other equipment removed and were fitted with 700-liter fuel tanks and flamethrowers. Formed into the 352nd and 353rd Armored Flamethrower Companies, they were put into combat in "Operation Nordwind (North Wind)" in January 1945. In addition, two tanks were converted from Type 38 Recovery Tanks and later became part of the Czech army's equipment.
