Takom's "Blitz" brand's second release, the 1/35 Panzer III Ausf. M with Schurzen, is now available.
Takom's "Blitz" brand combines a small number of parts for ease of assembly, a reasonable price, and the precise detail that is the Takom standard.
The Panzer III Ausf. M was the last production model of the Panzer III to be used as a main battle tank, with 250 units produced from October 1942 to February 1943.
The Panzer III Ausf. M was a production model based on the Ausf. L, mainly aimed at improving wading capabilities, with features such as watertight hatches and intake/exhaust ports to enhance wading ability.
Furthermore, from March 1943, the Panzer III series began to be modified with the addition of auxiliary armor plates called "Schurzen".
