■Product Description
This is an improved version of the AH-64A developed by McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing). The cockpit has been redesigned, the engines have been replaced, the electronics have been improved, and it is equipped with the AN/APG-78 Longbow millimeter-wave radar. The Longbow radar has the capability to detect more than 1000 targets, and can identify and pinpoint targets and determine response priorities. The radar is mounted on the rotor, giving it a distinctive appearance, but there are also aircraft that are not equipped with radar, such as the DN model for the Netherlands.
