■Product Description
This vehicle is a variant of the M4 Sherman, an armored version of the M4A3, with approximately 254 units produced. It features heavy armor with a maximum thickness of 152mm and was developed with the intention of breaking through German anti-tank gun positions.
The hull structure is a welded hull, and the engine was also changed from the M4A3 to a Ford GAA V8 gasoline engine. The M4A3E2 shares both the hull and engine.
It is equipped with a 75mm gun, but it seems that more than 100 units were modified in the field to have a 76.2mm gun.
This product is a 75mm gun equipped hull.
To reduce the increased ground pressure due to the increased weight of the hull caused by the armor reinforcement, attachments called "duckbills" are reproduced on the sides of the tracks.
