If you were asked which of the current Russian tanks photographs best, what would you think of?
The T-90A? Or the Su-35?
The answer is neither, but you have probably heard of this missile system.
The 9k37 Buk has been active in most regional wars in recent years and has achieved a good record.
In 2008, it shot down several Georgian Air Force aircraft in South Ossetia.
Also, in 2012, it was hastily exported to Syria after preventing NATO military intervention.
And in 2014, it shot down a civilian aircraft in eastern Ukraine.
This April, it intercepted a Tomahawk cruise missile in Syria.
In recent years, the 9K37 Buk has also become a news star.
For modelers, its Cold War-style appearance is more appealing than its combat record.
MENG's SS-014 9K37 Buk M1 Air Defense Missile System assembly model kit reproduces the real thing using movable suspension, movable tracks, movable missile launchers and flexible pipes, following the design philosophy of modern tanks.
A jig for assembling the tracks is included.
Etched parts are included, and the optical parts are reproduced with clear parts.
