■ Description
The tank No. II was a 10-ton light tank used in Germany from the interwar period until the beginning of World War II. For rearmament, the German army began production of the 5-ton I tank from 1934, but the tank No. I, which was too small for training and equipped with only machine guns, was not able to complete full firing training. Therefore, the 6th Division of the German Armed Forces Department requested the submission of development design papers in 1934 to the Krupp Company, the Henschel Company and three MAN companies. As a result of the comparison of three designs, the MAN Company was adopted in 1935.
