■Product Description
Introducing a new product from Scale X, a Ukrainian manufacturer of 3D-printed military kits and accessories: the 1/72 ZU-23-2 23mm anti-aircraft gun with gun shield. Scale X's 3D-printed kits are characterized by their delicate and intricate designs that are difficult to reproduce with injection molding.

The ZU-23-2 is a towed 23mm twin anti-aircraft gun developed by the Soviet Union after World War II for low-altitude air defense. Deployed to units from around 1960, approximately 140,000 ZU-23-2s were produced in the Soviet Union, and licensed production also took place in Bulgaria, Poland, Egypt, and China. In Russia, it was replaced by anti-aircraft missiles and self-propelled anti-aircraft guns as it became obsolete, but due to its light weight, it is still used by airborne forces, and its low cost, ease of handling, and high durability mean it continues to be used in many countries, mainly in the former communist bloc. It can also be used by both regular and irregular armed groups as an improvised combat vehicle by mounting it on the back of a truck, or as a simple infantry fighting vehicle by mounting it on the roof of an armored vehicle. The kit can be assembled to represent it in either a moving or operational state.
