Bumblebee joins the MDLX line to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of "Transformers: The Movie"!
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of "Transformers: The Movie," articulated figures inspired by the coloring in the animated film are now available in the MDLX line! The first releases are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron, and each of these three items comes with a card featuring an original illustration by Nobuyoshi Habara, who worked on the original drawings and illustrations for the TV anime series.
The Transformers figures in the MDLX line are based on the original TV anime series from the 1980s, with design arrangements by Kelvin Sau, art director at threezero. The "MDLX Bumblebee ("Transformers: The Movie" 40th Anniversary Edition)" is a fully articulated (non-transforming) figure approximately 12cm tall. The use of a die-cast zinc alloy and engineering plastic frame system provides approximately 36 points of articulation and high durability.
The "MDLX Bumblebee (Transformers: The Movie 40th Anniversary Edition)" features paintwork that is more faithful to the movie's color scheme compared to the regular MDLX Bumblebee already released overseas.
Accessories include one laser blaster, two interchangeable heads (normal head and masked head), and three pairs of interchangeable wrist parts.
