Following the debut of Kongo, Kajika is finally releasing Hiei.
Hiei was the second ship of the Kongo-class battleships, and its keel was laid at the Yokosuka Naval Arsenal, with the ship launched in November 1912.
It differed from Kongo in some aspects, such as the type of main guns and the use of Japanese-made boilers, and its most noticeable feature is its tallest smokestack.
With the outbreak of World War I, Hiei set sail in search of the German East Asia Squadron, and was also deployed in relief supply transport missions during the Great Kanto Earthquake.
After being transformed into a training battleship and then an imperial yacht, Hiei underwent a major refit in 1936 and fought in World War II.
